ABOUT US

Joyful Journeys is a friendly club in Coventry for adults with autism & learning disabilities. We run two weekly sessions in the evenings 7-9pm (term time only):
 

Mondays – Crafty Creations
Enjoy arts, crafts, and hands-on creative activities.

Wednesdays – Confidence Crew
Build confidence, communication skills, and friendships in a fun and supportive space whilst playing games. 

Our sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and a great place to meet new people, try new things, and feel part of a community.
 

Why Joyful Journeys Began
Joyful Journeys was created to support adults with learning disabilities in the Bell Green and Wood End areas of Coventry, where there are limited opportunities available.
 

Hi, I’m Lisa 👋
I started Joyful Journeys to create a safe, fun, and supportive space where people can feel confident, included, and themselves.
 

I have a background in adult education and have spent many years supporting adults with learning disabilities to build independence, confidence, and life skills.

I am also trained in:

• Safeguarding

• First aid

• PTLLS (teaching qualification)
   

You can feel reassured that everyone is supported in a safe and caring environment.
 

A Relaxed and Enjoyable Atmosphere

Our sessions are planned but always flexible and relaxed. There is time to socialise, unwind, and enjoy the evening at your own pace. We also have free refreshments through out, and a tuck shop is available for snacks.
 

If you prefer a quieter space, that’s absolutely fine. You can:

• Enjoy mindful colouring

• Complete puzzles, word searches, or crosswords

• Sit at a quieter table at your own pace
   

We also have earplugs available if you don’t have your own headphones.
 

Pricing Options

We offer flexible options to suit different needs:
 

• Pay As You Go
  £25 per session

• 4 Sessions (Advance Booking)
  £90 (save £10)

• 8 Sessions (Advance Booking)
  £160 (save £40)

Location
Our sessions take place at North Point Church (café area). 300 Roseberry Avenue, Bellgreen, CV2 1UT.
 

The building is fully accessible, including:

• Disabled access

• Disabled bathroom

We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome.

Try Before You Join

You’re welcome to come along for a free taster session.

You can bring a parent or carer, and personal carers are always welcome to attend. We aim to include everyone. However, participants do need a level of independence and basic communication skills to get the most from the sessions.
